Authorities search for suspect at Brazoria County property after motorcycle chase

BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) – Authorities are trying to apprehend a suspect who led them on a motorcycle chase Thursday afternoon in Brazoria County.

We are not broadcasting this incident live as a precaution for the authorities on site.

According to HPD, around 12:30 p.m., police responded to a robbery call at 1504 Northwood near the Houston Heights area.

The suspect took off, triggering a pursuit that took route 288, then FM 1462.

The man is believed to be inside a building near CR 185 in Brazoria County.

SkyEye is on the scene where authorities are on the property.

As police swept the area, a woman and a baby emerged from the residence where the suspect is believed to be.

The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office is in charge of the scene. They believe the suspect has ties to the area or is familiar.
